Update (Aug. 10):
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A North Little Rock teen has been arrested and charged as an adult in a July 17 homicide in Little Rock.
The Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) says Davontay Dewayne Baker, 17, faces a charge of Capital Murder in the shooting death of Samuel “Chris” Gilmore.
Police say the motive was robbery. Gilmore was found dead in the street in the 4800 block of W. 14th.
The LRPD says it was late Wednesday night when Baker was developed as a suspect in Gilmore’s killing. Baker reportedly turned himself in to the North Little Rock Police Department shortly before 1 a.m. Thursday. He was booked into the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility a few hours later and was being held without bond.
Update (July 24):
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Police are searching for a vehicle wanted in connection with a July 17 homicide at Madison Heights Apartments.
Police are looking for a black, 2006 Mercedes E350 with factory rims and tinted windows. The care should be displaying a Texas license plate with this number: JPJ6580.
Occupants of the car should be considered armed and dangerous. Any person found in possession of this vehicle will be held until a Homicide Detective has been notified.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The victim in a July 17 homicide has been identified.
The Little Rock Police Department says the body of Samuel “Chris” Gilmore, 19, was found in the street in the area of 4800 W. 14th.
The LRPD says Gilmore had recently moved to Little Rock from Houston, Texas.
There’s no word yet on a motive or suspect in the killing.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials are working to identify a shooting victim found dead on a city street late Monday night.
Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) officers were called to the scene just before 11:30 p.m. along W. 14th St. between Monroe and Madison in a neighborhood several blocks south of Interstate 630.
Police say the victim, a black male aged 18-24, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Detectives collected evidence from the area and searched for witnesses to the deadly shooting. The body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy and identification.
The LRPD is not yet releasing any suspect information.
