LITTLE ROCK, AR – Police are investigating a second bank robbery today.
LITTLE ROCK, AR – An arrest has been made in a Tuesday bank robbery.
The Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) says Jahmal Wallace, 37, is in jail for the holdup at the First Security Bank on Bass Pro Drive yesterday afternoon.
Wallace was arrested around 2 a.m. today by a police SWAT team that went inside his Ringo St. home when he refused to surrender after more than 3 hours of negotiations.
The SWAT team was called in around 10:30 Tuesday night when Wallace did not answer the door.
He’s being held on $100,000 bond.

The latest holdup happened shortly after noon on the city’s southwest side.
Officers were called to the First Security Bank on Bass Pro Drive.
The day’s other holdup happened shortly before 9:30 this morning at the U.S. Bank branch near Park Plaza. Two suspects were arrested within 20 minutes of that heist.
