Update: Suspect Wanted for 1st-Degree Murder Arrested in Tulsa

TULSA, OK — A man wanted by Texarkana police for first-degree murder has been taken into custody in Tulsa by the Tulsa Oklahoma Police Department’s Fugitive Task Force, according to reports.
 
Police say Miguel “Angel” Martinez, 24, is accused of beating 57-year-old Jamie “Jimmy” Barrios to death. Barrios was found inside his Texarkana home Saturday afternoon.

The Texarkana Police Department is awaiting extradition of Martinez from Oklahoma.

TEXARKANA, AR — Police have developed a suspect in the murder of 57-year-old Jamie “Jimmy” Barrios, who was found dead inside his home Saturday afternoon.

According to the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department (TAPD), 24-year-old Miguel Angel Martinez is wanted for first-degree murder.

Martinez stands 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs approximately 195 pounds and is believed to be purposely eluding law enforcement, TAPD says.
