Update (2:30 p.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR – After a standoff that lasted nearly 3 hours, Little Rock Police make an arrest on 12th Street. 

Witnesses say around 2:30 tear gas was used to smoke out the man inside. 

The SWAT team left the scene minutes later.

Update (2 p.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR – Little Rock Police and SWAT officers are negotiating with a man at a home in the 3000 block of 12th Street.

The unidentified 50-year-old is believed to be in the residence alone.

Police were called to the area just before noon after reports of a man chasing people around the area.

Once on the scene, police were directed to an apartment.

An officer thought he heard a round being chambered in a gun inside the home.

The SWAT team was called in and have made contact with the man, and are trying to get him to safely come out of the residence.

Original Story (12:50 p.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR – There is a police presence at the 3000 block of 12th Street near the intersection of Woodrow in central Little Rock.

Shortly before noon, officers were called to the scene on an unknown situation.

Seen outside the home, there is an ambulance along with police patrol cars and a SWAT unit truck.

As of 12:40 SWAT personnel were seen entering the residence.
