Update: Teen, Baby Slightly Injured in Jacksonville Hit & Run

Update (April 13):
JACKSONVILLE, AR – The Jacksonville Police Department (JPD) has released new details in a Sunday hit and run.

It happened on Collins Road sending two children to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police say a 16-year-old girl was pushing a stroller with a 1-year-old inside when a vehicle struck the teen on her left side in the upper thigh area.

The impact caused her to fall and overturned the stroller.

Both victims were treated and released at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. 

The JPD says it’s looking for a silver or white vehicle, possibly a Dodge Charger, with black stripes down the passenger side.

JACKSONVILLE, AR – Jacksonville Police are investigating a hit and run on Collins Road.

A police department spokesman says two children, a 16-year-old and a 1-year-old, were injured in the Sunday accident.

Both were taken to the hospital but there’s no word on their conditions.

Police are looking for the driver.
