Update: Victim Identified in Deadly Southwest Little Rock Stabbing

Update (Feb. 18):
LITTLE ROCK, AR – The victim has been identified in a deadly stabbing that happened last week at a motel on the city’s southwest side.

According to Little Rock Police, the Arkansas State Crime Lab identified the victim through fingerprints as John Bowers, 47.

Darron Keys, 39, was arrested on Valentine’s Day for the deadly stabbing of Bowers the day before at the Rodeway Inn on W. 65th Street.

Update (Feb. 14):
LITTLE ROCK, AR — Police have taken a man into custody in the deadly stabbing of a man who was found Friday morning.

Darron Keys, 39, was arrested around 2:30 Saturday in Little Rock.

He is currently being questioned by detectives.

The victim has not yet been identified.

Update (Feb. 13, 2 p.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR – Little Rock Police have named a suspect in a deadly Friday morning stabbing on 65th Street.

Police are looking for Darron Keys, 39, in connection with the murder. Police describe Keys as being 6’1″ tall and weighing about pounds. His last known address is 633 Beechwood Street in West Helena.

Original Story (Feb. 13, 5 a.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) is looking for suspects in a deadly stabbing.

It happened around 2:20 a.m. Friday at the Rodeway Inn & Suites motel, 2401 W. 65th Street. 

Police say the victim is a man who has not yet been identified. They say he suffered multiple wounds and died after being taken to the hospital.

According to the police report, the victim was found on the floor outside room 208 but the incident had occurred outside room 251.

The LRPD says the man’s death is the city’s 4th homicide of 2015.
