OSCEOLA, Ark. – Surveillance video from a local hotel shows the building taking a direct hit from a tornado over the weekend.
The twister rated EF-1 by the National Weather Service (NWS) struck the Rodeway Inn on Keiser Ave. in Osceola shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday.
One of the hotel managers was injured trying to help some of the hotel guests get to safety. He was treated at a hospital and released.
NWS Meteorologist Tom Salem reported that the storm likely started in Keiser and traveled northeast.
