“What’s for Dinner?” New Restaurant Helping Revitalize Vilonia Community

VILONIA, AR – It’s been seven months since disaster struck central Arkansas when a tornado barreled across several counties, devastating everything in its wake.

Rebuilding is a slow and steady process.

But today was a big step forward. In Vilonia, the first new business to open since the storm held its grand opening.

It’s a restaurant, called “What’s for dinner?”

The part owners are happy to bring some down-home cooking to an area that badly needs economic stimulation.

“But it is not only our restaurant it is the community’s restaurant because without the community, we’re nothing,” says owners Clint and Amy Tucker.

Governor Mike Beebe was on hand for today’s ribbon cutting.

By the way, if you’re wondering, tonight the special is chicken and dressing.
