LITTLE ROCK, AR — The woman behind the wheel when an elderly man was struck and killed in 2010 has been sentenced to 10 years behind bars.
Julia Blackwell, 32, was convicted of negligent homicide by a Pulaski County Jury.
Prosecutors say she was high on prescription pills when she hit 78-year-old Ralph Friedman, who died from his injuries three months later.
