WEST MEMPHIS, AR – A death invstigation is underway after a woman is found dead inside a vehicle.
The West Memphis Police Department (WMPD) says the 43-year-old was inside a car that was parked in a lot on Ingram Boulevard.
Her body was found around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Detectives were called in to photograph the scene and gather any potential evidence, police said.
The WMPD says officers did not see any obvious signs of foul play.
The woman’s body has been sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
The WMPD is not yet releasing the woman’s name and says it’s investigating the case as an unknown death.
