LITTLE ROCK, AR – Little Rock’s work force development center is offering unemployed young adults a free pathway into the workforce.
Youth Build helps trainees get certified in construction, nursing assistance and other areas for free.
In addition, they will pay you for your time hoping to build upon your future and the future of Little Rock.
“This is a program where students and young adults can have a second chance, we don’t want you in the streets. The crime rate is high, unemployment rates are high, we are giving you an opportunity to not only get, but equipping you with skills to get you into our workforce,” says Melissa Mitchell.
Youth Build targets people 18 to 24-years-old, including high school dropouts and youth or adult offenders.
Orientation courses start November 13 and 19.
