LITTLE ROCK, AR – A contest that takes place next month in Little Rock is looking for the toughest men and women to participate.

The Budweiser Great American Lager Original Toughman Contest boxing event demands both big boxing gloves and short rounds.

It’s being held at the Statehouse Convention Center, Friday and Saturday, March 15th and 16th at 8:00 each night.

If you want to sign up to fight, call 1-989-450-6099 or enter online (click here).

Ticket prices start at $15.00 for each day and are on sale now at all three Little Rock and both North Little Rock CROW-BURLINGAME BUMPER TO BUMPER LOCATIONS or charge by phone at 989-450-6099. Tickets cost $5.00 more the day of the show. The box office opens at the Statehouse Convention Center at 6:00 both nights.

A field of over 40 local fighters, including Toughwomen is expected. Promoters say from those already registered, it’s easy to see the fighters come from all walks of life: a real estate salesman to a member of the military, from production line tough guy to high school teacher, and they come from all over the local area.

Every competitor will be going toe-to-toe in front of friends and family for a little fame and fortune. Mr. T, one of Toughman’s famous alumni, summed it up, “No wimps allowed. If we wanted a best man, we’d go to a wedding, if we’re looking for a good man, we’ll look in the military, we want the TOUGHEST man!”

In addition to a daredevil attitude, competitors must be at least 18, and pass the on-site physical.

Over $3,000 in cash will be awarded at the conclusion of the finals on March 16th.
