LITTLE ROCK, AR — A strong season, but not enough to pull off a victory against LSU. Friday, the Tigers beat Arkansas in Death Valley, 41 to 17.
The Razorbacks started the game with a lot of momentum, but the number one team in the country found even more power. Local fans knew winning against LSU would be tough.
“You can’t say that (LSU) are not the better team. Our offense is good, but (LSU) held us in check though. They are a very good team and very tough. They got some great athletes. They are a great team,” said fan Geoffrey Campbell
But now attention turns to what lies ahead, as the Razorbacks look to post season bowl games and the 2012 team.
“We got a lot of new young guys that really haven’t been in the spot light yet and could really shine,” said fan Lance Wilcox.
Fans say the return of Coach Bobby Petrino next season is another positive.
“He’s a team builder. He knows how to build a team and keep them together,” said fan Tim Gardner.
