Update (Feb. 5)LITTLE ROCK, AR- North Little Rock High School has issued a recommendation of termination for its head football coach, Brad Bolding.
Reasons behind the recommendation include violations involving equipment, personal Facebook posts and playing an ineligible athlete. A source said the ineligible player is K.J. Hill, recent Ohio State signee who played for the Charging Wildcats’ football and basketball team.
Bolding’s attorney said that the coach had nothing to do with the forfeits.
Update (Feb. 4): LITTLE ROCK, AR – A local attorney is shedding light on the employment status of North Little Rock High School football coach Brad Bolding.

UPDATE: I’ve heard from Little Rock lawyer David Couch, who represents Bolding. He says the school district has given notice to the coach of its intent to terminate him under the Teacher Fair Dismissal Act. Couch said the process includes an opportunity for a public hearing. He said Bolding would request a hearing and contest the firing. Bolding remains on the district payroll, but has been suspended from duties. Couch said he was confident at the end of the proceeding that Bolding would remain coach. He has promised some more detail later today, but said the disagreement arises from football equipment purchases made by a private foundation that were given to the school. Rumors have ranged much farther afield and Couch said he hoped to put those to rest.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR — Rumors are swirling about the employment status of North Little Rock High School football coach Brad Bolding.
Reporter Drew Petrimoulx has been in contact with the district over the last few weeks after receiving a tip Bolding may no longer be the coach. To date, the district won’t say either way telling us “it’s a personnel matter” that can’t be discussed.
Petrimoulx put in a request for employee personnel records and certain emails in Bolding’s district account. The request for personnel records was denied by the district. While some emails were handed over to Petrimoulx, any emails centering around Bolding’s “job performance or evaluation” weren’t released.
Last week, our content partners at the Arkansas Times submitted a request for information about athletic department and football spending in North Little Rock and spending of private booster organizations that support North Little Rock football. The district responded by saying it wouldn’t be able to respond to that request.
Last week, Bolding scheduled an interview with Jason Snavely to discuss the rumors and his employment status. Bolding didn’t appear for the shoot.
Bolding joined North Little Rock in 2007 as head coach. He previously worked at Mayflower, Rogers, Greenwood and the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
North Little Rock finished 11-2 in 2014. Wide receiver K.J. Hill led the team and is considered one of the top prospects in the country at his position.
Last week, Bolding reportedly applied for the head coaching position at Nashville High School. The spot was given to another candidate.
