4PM Update on Arkansas Road Conditions

Update (4 p.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR – Driving conditions across Arkansas have slightly improved this afternoon, but travelers are advised to keep in mind that temperatures will fall well below freezing overnight, allowing for roads to refreeze.

As of 4 p.m., here are road conditions from across the state via the iDriveArkansas.com website of the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.

In northwest Arkansas it’s a mixed bag. There are some snow covered roads. There are also some roads that are relatively clear or slushy, while others have ice or ice patches.

In central Arkansas, the Little Rock metro area has mostly highways that are icy or have ice patches.

In north central and northeast Arkansas most roads are icy or have ice patches.

South Arkansas roads are clear.

LITTLE ROCK, AR – As of 10:45 Monday morning, here are road conditions from across the state via the iDriveArkansas.com website of the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.

Ice and/or ice patches are covering roads in a large part of Arkansas stretching across central Arkansas and up into northeast Arkansas.

In extreme northwest Arkansas and in Independence County on Hwy. 62, roads are covered in snow.

Slush is reported on roads in the areas around Fort Smith, Hot Springs and in east Arkansas from Forrest City down to Dumas and also south of Pine Bluff.

Roads are reported clear in southwest and south Arkansas.
