Cold Halloween, Freeze Warning

Cold, Canadian High pressure building across the Southeast will bring the first freeze of the year to much of Arkansas. Winds will diminish tonight allowing temperatures to drop into the upper 20s to around 30 degrees across most of the State. A Freeze Warning is in effect for all of Arkansas tonight through Friday morning.

Although this is a little early for the first freeze for the Little Rock area, most locations in Arkansas typically get the first freeze of the year during the first two weeks of November.

It is going to be a cold Halloween for Trick-or-Treaters tonight with clear skies and temperatures dropping into the 30s. The winds will diminish early this evening, so wind chill won’t be much of a factor.
