In Pictures: Recap of March 25 Arkansas Storms, Damage

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Wednesday night storms left damage in several Arkansas counties.

Tornadoes were reported in Madison and Carroll counties but have not yet been confirmed by weather officials.

  • 11:45 p.m. – Russellville (Pope County). Thunderstorm wind damage reported on 400 block of North Arkansas Avenue. Some windows and a portion of an end wall blown out of top floor of two-story building.
  • 10:29 p.m. – 5 miles south of Fort Smith (Sebastian County). Thunderstorm wind gust measured at 72 mph south of the city on Highway 71.
  • 8:50 p.m. – Fayetteville (Washington County). Thunderstorm wind damage. Tree down on South Street.
  • 7:30 p.m. – Alpena (Boone County). Thunderstorm wind damage. Shed blown over.
  • 5:47 p.m. – 2 miles south of Berryville (Carroll County). Tornado. Rain-wrapped tornado.
  • 5:34 p.m. – 4 miles west of Sand Springs, Oklahoma (Tulsa County). Tornado. One killed. Extensive damage in mobile home park near Hwy. 51 and 145 West Avenue.
  • 5:35 p.m. – Rogers (Benton County). Hail. Golf ball to tennis ball size hail at Rocky Branch. 
  • 5:33 p.m. – 7 miles north of Forum (Madison County). Tornado. Large trees uprooted near junction of highways 12 and 23.
  • 5:30 p.m. – 2 miles north of Clifty (Madison County). Tornado. Damage reported to three chicken houses.
