MIDWAY, AR – A mobile home park in Baxter County was damaged in Wednesday’s storm. It is yet to be officially determined, but it appears that the damage was caused by straight line wind.

The sheriff’s office says the initial calls to 911 stated that some residents were trapped in damaged mobile homes at the Country Life Mobile Home Park on Highway 5 near Midway. Deputies and volunteer firefighters were able to evacuate everyone from the damaged homes. The sheriff’s office reports that everyone is accounted for and there are no injuries.

7 of the mobile homes sustained heavy damage, with one overturned and three others having their roofs collapsed by trees. The American Red Cross and the Salvation Army are on scene to help those who have been displaced.
